Instagram API requires you to connect your Instagram Business account with the Facebook Page of the same business on Facebook for easy integration, validation, and managing campaigns on both platforms effectively. 

If you want to integrate your Instagram account with Facebook Page, then follow these steps to easily link both business profiles together. 

Remember: You must have “admin” rights of the Facebook Page to link your Instagram business account. 

Steps To Link Instagram With Facebook Business Page

1. Log-in to your Facebook Page and go to Page Settings.

2. Select the Instagram option mentioned on the sidebar of the page (below Branded Content) 

3. Now connect your Instagram Business Account by logging in with the same business account.  

4. Hence, your Instagram account is linked to Facebook Business Page

P.S. – You have to follow the same steps for the old and new Facebook interface to link Instagram Account with Facebook Page. The possible reasons behind your credential/token expirations are as follows-

• You may have not logged in even once in the last 2 months (the most usual reason).
• You’ve recently changed your Facebook or Instagram password.
• You’ve recently logged out of Facebook or Instagram.
• Logging in and out of multiple Facebook or Instagram accounts from your device.
• Facebook or Instagram has detected a security issue on your account.
• Facebook or Instagram suspects spammy behavior on your account (like posting too frequently or repetitive content).
• Suspicious (Login attempts from a new location) and later not having the full permissions required. In case if you initially grant the permissions and decide to stop using us, we do not have access without your permission.

In these images, you can see the reconnect error option that means your token has expired. Which is why, you could not fetch the latest feed on your widget. 

So click on the reconnect button to authorize and fetch the latest feeds.

Note that, the expiration due to any of the above reasons, is subject to the safety of your own account. Social media networks have set these regulations by themselves and we in Taggbox would like to suggest you to just re-connect without investing much of your time in evaluating the reason.
